Norrin Radds' Planet is a planet in a far off solar system that can support life. It is a world inhabited by intelligent, sentient life forms, these being the Silver Surfer and his race. Norrin has a woman that he loves there. Norrin's world was due to be devoured by the cosmic entity Galactus, as it needed the energy of planets in order to survive.
Norrin, in a desperate bid to save the woman he loves and his planet, would bargain with Galactus. He would find new worlds for Galactus to feed upon if he spared his homeworld. Using his board, he would travel vast distances, finding suitable planets for his master.
