The Tachyon Pulse Generator is a device created by Mr. Fantastic. Its sole function is to generate a pulse that, when making contact with the Silver Surfer's Board, will forcibly separate him from it. The surfer is then weakened until he can return to it.

In order for the process to work, four generators at 4 different coordinates must be activated. Once all four are active the pulse can then be fired.
